The Rage was just the beginning, are you ready to create a storm on the Mischief scooter from Slamm? The perfect scooter for those of you who are now looking to upgrade your Rage and take your skills to the next level in the skate park!
Slamm Mischief II (RRP £100) - Most Recent Model.
New for Summer 2014 the Mischief 2 has a boxed deck with extruded head-tube. The 4.13" x 19" boxed deck is low profile and has grind rails for controlled slides. The flat sides of the deck mean that tails whips are less likely to take a chunk out of your ankles if they go wrong!
The extruded neck curves beautifully out from the deck and has vertical cut outs to make it super light weight, yet super strong and is designed in-house by this UK brand. Extruded aluminium is simply aluminium that has been passed through a die to give its shape and creates a strong but lightweight build. With all the unnecessary material removed and then strengthened where needed this scooter creates the perfect balance between weight and durability.
Also featuring an extruded threadless fork with Slamms own custom IHC system, this scooter is one of the cheapest to feature a threadless set up and includes Neco semi sealed bearings. The 110mm wheels are nylon core - upgrade to the Mischief 2 Rebel is you are seeking alloy core wheels.
The clamp on this model, similar to the Rage Urban Xtrm is a double clamp with a steel kingpin to reduce the risk of threading. The bars are oversized BMX style measuring 20.5" x 23.2" and have dual compound impact bar grips for comfort and durability. Finished with a carbon composite flex brake this scooter offers great value for beginner or intermediate riders.
Slamm Mischief II Rebel (RRP £120)- Most Recent Model.
Again for summer 2014 the Rebel is an upgraded version of the Mischief II. This higher spec model has 100mm V-Ten Alloy core wheels replacing the plastic ones seen on the Mischief II. These wheels are 88a grade Mi-T urethane offering higher resistance to squaring.
Slamm Mischief Eternal 2013 (RRP £100) -
There are many outstanding features of the Mischief Eternal that help to make its competitors sit up and take note. Firstly, this is one of the cheapest scooters on the market to run a set up that comprises of a threadless headset with a IHC compression system, and 110mm fast wheels! Check out our information pages for more on this but in short this means a robust connection leading to super smooth tail whips. The Neco semi sealed bearings also means no danger of them falling out when you change them!
The second fab feature that has been added to the Eternal is the strengthened punched fork, cast from one piece of metal providing you with a super strong base with which to take the impact of your landings.
Both these attributes help to make this a superb stunt scooter for under £100, however, there is still more to offer. The one piece deck is reinforced at 48cm long and is powder coated creating a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint. This scooter is better placed at taking the knocks without looking shabby. This model has a shortened tempered steel flex brake giving the perfect combination of flex and durability.
The Slamm Mischief Eternal has one piece oversized bars measuring 17 inches by 22.5 inches and uses an oversized triple clamp. The grips have also been improved with colour matched toughened end caps to help keep your scooter looking good even after a few smashes.
If your abilities in the skate park have outgrown your Rage, this might be just what you are looking for to create more Mischief.
