10% off all helmets and pads when bought with a scooter, skateboard or skates.
That said for older riders, you will probably be thinking it’s just not cool when skating down the street, plus your movement is restricted and it can make it harder to ride. Once you do get used to wearing knee and elbow pads though you’ll feel strange going out without them.
I would definitely recommend knee and elbow pads for children or those new to riding. If you are a pro rider who performs stunts and tricks at skate parks, elbow and knee pads are a must, as one big fall and your knee caps or elbows could smash. Stunt pegs can also badly injure you if come off your scooter and land awkward, the last thing you need is one of those impaled in your leg.
Most knee and elbow pads have high density foam, inside a protective plastic or material shell. Wrist guards should also be considered for children and the more experienced rider performing trick and stunts.
