If you are in to surfing then you would have more than likely heard of Maui and Sons, founded by three young surfers from Southern California back in 1980 as a surf clothing design company. After 30 plus years Maui and Sons has grown into a global company creating products for the active lifestyle.
Throughout the years Maui and Sons have kept their style true to their roots and the main logo/icon of Maui and Sons is Sharkman, the character created in the early days and now one of the best-known global icons in the active sports industry.
So with clothing, surfboards, skateboards and more to their name it seemed only natural that Maui and Sons get into the pro scooter scene. With their wealth of knowledge and experience in extreme sports they have produced three different scooters for different skill levels. After checking these scooters out we feel the spec and materials used verse the price makes this brand a great choice and compares to any of the other big brands out there.
Maui and Sons have just introduced their new range of scooters into the UK and this Twister model we are extremely excited about. There is a gap in the market for lower priced stunt scooters that are made from quality materials. This beginner’s model fits the bill.
This model is aimed at those who want a bit higher end spec from a scooter. This model comes with a classic T-Bar and some ultra cool cut outs on the down tube.
As you would expect some top end materials used on a top end scooter. It has got a good look about it especially the blue/black model which has two tone bars.
