New Slamm Stark Scooter for Entry Level Riders.
The Stark Scooter is Slamm's latest edition to its broad range of models covering all abilities. The key feature which sets this ride apart from the others is that it comes ready supplied with Alloy Core wheels. Currently the cheapest stunt scooter on the market to feature such robust wheels for under £70, the Stark is sure to be a massive hit!
Suited to new riders or those looking to upgrade from a more basic scooter to join in the fun at the skate park, this model also comes fitted with a flex brake, much favoured over spring brakes because they are less likely to rattle and help keep the scooter smooth and dialled.
The bars come finished with BMX style grips and have a slightly dipped look. The graphics on the Stark, in similarity to the Classic, are minimal, as is the flash of colour. Whilst the scooter is predominately Black in colour you have the choice between Green or Blue wheels and matching stickers. There is certainly a grown up pro look about this scooter.
The triple bolted collar clamp keeps things nice and tight but do be aware that the max rider weight on this model is 75kgs instead of the usual 100kgs which you find on most scooters. However, that's still almost 12 stone and as this model is designed for new and younger riders this shouldn't be too much of an issue.
Comparing the Slamm Stark to the Classic which has the same RRP we would recommend this model would be better suited to those keen on jumps and drops simply because it has more robust wheels.
